Description

Creamy Garlic Parmesan Shrimp Roll-Ups combine tender shrimp, rich cheese, and a velvety sauce for a quick and delicious dinner that feels fancy but comes together in just 30 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights, this recipe uses simple ingredients like crescent roll dough and a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, making it a family favorite.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Large shrimp (peeled, deveined)
1 can (8 oz) Crescent roll dough
4 cloves Garlic (minced)
3 tbsp Butter
1 cup Heavy cream
½ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
To taste Salt and pepper
For garnish Fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a baking dish
  2. Toss shrimp with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place one shrimp at the wide end of each triangle and roll tightly
  4. Arrange roll-ups in the prepared dish. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golde
  5. While baking, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce thickens
  6. Pour the sauce over the baked roll-ups. Top with shredded mozzarella. Broil for 2 minutes until bubbly. Garnish with fresh parsley

Notes

Pat shrimp dry before seasoning to prevent the dough from getting soggy.

Do not overfill the roll-ups; space them evenly in the dish.

Watch the sauce carefully as it thickens quickly; use low heat and stir constantly to prevent curdling.

Use fresh Parmesan for the best flavor.

Let the roll-ups rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes; avoid the microwave.

Unbaked roll-ups can be frozen for up to 1 month; thaw overnight in the refrigerator before baking.

To make ahead, assemble the roll-ups, cover, and refrigerate. Bake just before serving.

Substitution ideas: use cooked chicken instead of shrimp, puff pastry instead of crescent dough, half-and-half for a lighter sauce, or add spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, or red pepper flakes.
