Description

Low Calorie Greek Yogurt Brownies are fudgy, rich, and chocolatey, made with Greek yogurt to cut fat and calories while keeping them moist and delicious. Perfect for a healthy dessert or snack.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup Plain nonfat Greek yogurt
1/2 cup Granulated sweetener (or sugar)
1/3 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Large egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1/4 cup All-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon Baking powder
1 pinch Salt
2 tablespoons Dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the Greek yogurt, sweetener, egg, and vanilla until smooth
  3. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir gently until combined. Do not overmix
  4. Pour the batter into the pan and spread evenly. Fold in chocolate chips if using
  5. Bake for 18-22 minutes. A toothpick should come out with a few moist crumbs
  6. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out and slice

Notes

Always use room temperature ingredients for smooth blending.

Do not overbake; brownies continue to set as they cool.

Line pan with parchment for easy removal.

Brownies taste even better the next day.
