Ingredients
1 lb Ground turkey (93/7 lean)
3 tbsp Honey
3 tbsp Low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari)
4 large Garlic cloves (minced)
1 tsp Fresh ginger (grated)
1 tbsp Rice vinegar
1 tbsp Sesame oil
3 Green onions (sliced for garnish)
0.5 tsp Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sesame oil
- Add the ground turkey to the hot skillet. Break it up with a spatula. Cook for 5-6 minutes until browned
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked turkey. Stir well to coat everything

- Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with sliced green onions
- Serve immediately over your favorite base
Notes
Use 93% lean ground turkey for best texture.
Don’t overcook the turkey; keep it moist.
Grate your ginger finely for even flavor.
Let the sauce bubble to thicken properly.
Taste before adding extra salt.
Always use low-sodium soy sauce to control salt levels.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave; add a splash of water if sauce thickens.
Freeze for up to 3 months; thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
Can be made ahead; flavors meld and taste even better the next day.
For gluten-free, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
Reduce honey to 2 tablespoons and add more soy sauce to make it less sweet.
