Ingredients
3 large eggs
3 tbsp full-fat cream cheese
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp optional seasoning (garlic powder, onion powder)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Separate eggs: place whites in one bowl, yolks in another
- Melt cream cheese in microwave for 15-20 seconds. Whisk into egg yolks until smooth
- Whip egg whites with cream of tartar and salt until stiff peaks form
- Gently fold egg white mixture into yolk mixture until just combined. Do not overmix
- Spoon batter onto prepared sheet, forming 6 circles. Flatten slightly
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and firm. Cool completely
Notes
Use room temperature eggs for best volume.
Cream of tartar stabilizes egg whites; do not skip.
Fold gently to avoid deflating the batter.
Bake at low temperature to prevent burning.
Let cool fully to set structure.
Store in airtight container in fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for 2 months.
Reheat in toaster oven or dry skillet; microwave for 10 seconds.
