Description

These Easy French Dip Sliders combine tender roast beef, melty provolone, and buttery Hawaiian rolls, baked to golden perfection and served with warm au jus for dipping. A quick and satisfying weeknight dinner that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale

12-pack Hawaiian sweet rolls
1 lb deli roast beef, thinly sliced
8 slices provolone cheese (or Swiss)
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 packet au jus gravy mix, prepared per box
1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Slice entire pack of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping them connected. Place bottom half in a 9×13 baking dish
  3. Layer roast beef evenly over bottom rolls
  4. Top beef with provolone cheese slices
  5. Place top half of rolls onto cheese
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder
  7. Pour butter mixture evenly over tops of rolls
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if using
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes
  10. Uncover and bake for another 5 minutes, until golde
  11. While sliders bake, prepare au jus mix according to package directions
  12. Let sliders rest for 2 minutes. Slice apart and serve warm with au jus for dipping

Notes

Do not skip the foil; it steams rolls perfectly.

Use thinly sliced beef for best results.

Let sliders rest before cutting to prevent falling apart.

For extra flavor, toast bottom rolls for 2 minutes before adding meat to prevent sogginess.

Warm au jus thoroughly for best dipping experience.

Store leftovers in airtight container in fridge for up to 3 days.

To reheat, use oven at 350°F for 10 minutes or air fryer; avoid microwave.

Freeze unbaked sliders for up to 2 months; thaw overnight in fridge before baking.
