A quick and easy air fryer chicken recipe with a crispy garlic parmesan coating, perfect for busy weeknights. Ready in under 20 minutes.
Ingredients
1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 3 breasts)
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
Olive oil spray (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F
- Pat chicken dry with paper towels
- In a bowl, combine Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper
- Coat each chicken piece with olive oil spray, then dredge through the cheese mixture, pressing firmly to adhere
- Place coated chicken in air fryer basket without overcrowding
- Cook for 12-14 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 165°F
- Let rest for 2 minutes before serving
Notes
For extra crispiness, pat chicken very dry and do not overcrowd the basket.
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting and flavor.
Can substitute chicken thighs; adjust cooking time as needed.
To reheat, use air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes to restore crispiness.
