Ingredients
4 slices Thick bread (brioche or Texas toast)
2 large Eggs
1/3 cup Whole milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamo
As needed Butter or cooking spray (for greasing)
To taste Maple syrup (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C)
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamo
- Quickly dip each bread slice into the mixture. Do not soak it. Just coat both sides
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket with butter or spray
- Place the dipped bread slices in a single layer in the basket
- Cook for 5-6 minutes, flipping halfway through
- Serve immediately with syrup
Notes
Use stale bread to prevent sogginess.
Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if needed.
Flip halfway for even browning.
Let cooked toast rest for one minute to firm up.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 2 minutes.
Freeze for up to a month; reheat from frozen for 4 minutes.
