Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined
- Add the almond flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir gently until a soft dough forms
- Fold in the sliced almonds if using
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and place them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet. Gently flatten each ball with your palm
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden brown (centers will look soft)
