Description
Every Friday night, my kitchen transforms into a tiny, happy diner with these Cheeseburger Sliders. They are messy, cheesy, and absolutely satisfying, bringing everyone together for a small, delicious celebration. These sliders use basic ingredients, cook in under 20 minutes, and are perfectly portioned for kids and adults alike, making dinner fun and interactive.
Ingredients
1 package Slider buns (12-pack)
1 pound Ground beef (80/20)
6 slices American cheese slices
1 small Onion, finely diced
2 tablespoons Ketchup
1 tablespoon Yellow mustard
To taste Salt and pepper
2 tablespoons Butter, melted
1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F
- Brown the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat
- Season the meat with salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard. Stir well
- Slice the entire pack of slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish
- Spread the meat mixture evenly over the buns. Lay the cheese slices on top
- Place the top buns on the cheese
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese melts and buns are golden. Cut into individual Cheeseburger Sliders and serve warm
Notes
Don’t overcook the beef; keep it juicy.
Use a sharp knife to cut the buns cleanly.
For extra flavor, toast the buns lightly before assembling.
You can also add a slice of pickle or a smear of special sauce to each slider.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes, or use a toaster oven or air fryer for best texture.
