Description
This Baked Yogurt tastes like healthy custard—silky, lightly sweet, and incredibly simple. It's a protein-packed dessert that feels indulgent but fits a healthy lifestyle.
Ingredients
2 cups Plain Greek Yogurt (full-fat)
3 large Eggs (room temperature)
1/3 cup Honey or Maple Syrup
1 tsp Vanilla Extract (pure)
1 tbsp Cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C)
- Whisk eggs and honey together in a large bowl
- Add yogurt, vanilla, and cornstarch. Mix until smooth
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish
- Place dish in a water bath. Pour hot water halfway up the sides
- Bake for 40-45 minutes. The center should jiggle slightly
- Cool completely before serving. Chill for best texture
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients to prevent curdling.
Don't overbake; the center should be slightly wobbly.
Strain yogurt if it's watery for a thicker custard.
Let it chill for at least 2 hours; the flavor deepens.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Reheat gently in microwave for 20 seconds or enjoy cold.
Freezes well for up to a month; thaw overnight in fridge.
