A creamy and tangy artichoke dipping sauce perfect for steamed artichokes, chips, or fresh vegetables.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- Optional: 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese or chopped fresh herbs (parsley, dill)
Instructions
- 1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and sour cream (or Greek yogurt).
- 2. Add lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- 3. Stir until smooth and well blended.
- 4. If using, mix in Parmesan cheese or chopped herbs.
- 5. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
- 6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- 7. Serve chilled with steamed artichokes, chips, or vegetable crudités.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a dash of hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Make it vegan by using plant-based mayo and yogurt.
- This sauce can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
