Description
A creamy and tangy artichoke dipping sauce perfect for steamed artichokes, chips, or fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 small garlic clove, minced
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
Optional: 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese or chopped fresh herbs (parsley, dill)
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and sour cream (or Greek yogurt).
2. Add lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
3. Stir until smooth and well blended.
4. If using, mix in Parmesan cheese or chopped herbs.
5. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
7. Serve chilled with steamed artichokes, chips, or vegetable crudités.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add a dash of hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
Make it vegan by using plant-based mayo and yogurt.
This sauce can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
