Description

This Apple Pie Dip with Cinnamon Sugar Chips is a warm, creamy dessert dip that tastes like classic apple pie without the crust. Made with tender apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar, it comes together in under 20 minutes. Served with homemade cinnamon sugar tortilla chips, it's a cozy fall treat that brings everyone together.

Ingredients

Scale

4 cups Apples (peeled, diced)
1/3 cup Brown sugar
2 tbsp Granulated sugar
2 tbsp Butter
1 tsp Cinnamo
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tbsp Cornstarch
1 tbsp Water
6 Flour tortillas
1/4 cup Cinnamon sugar mix
3 tbsp Melted butter (for chips)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dip: Melt butter in a skillet. Add diced apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Cook for 6-8 minutes. Stir occasionally
  2. Thicken the mixture: Mix cornstarch and water. Pour into the skillet. Stir for 1 minute until thick. Remove from heat
  3. Make the chips: Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut tortillas into triangle wedges. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mix on each wedge
  4. Bake the chips: Arrange on a baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp. Cool for 2 minutes
  5. Assemble: Pour the warm dip into a serving bowl. Place the chips on a platter. Serve immediately

Notes

Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for the best texture.

Do not overcook the apples; they should be tender but not mushy.

Cut tortillas into uniform triangles so they bake evenly.

Let the dip sit for 5 minutes after cooking to thicken.

Store dip and chips separately to keep chips crisp. Dip keeps 3 days in the fridge; chips stay crunchy in a ziplock at room temperature.
