Description

These Amazing Crispy Air Fryer Potatoes are a quick, healthy weeknight staple. With minimal oil and a perfect crunchy exterior giving way to a fluffy interior, they're made in the air fryer for consistent, golden results every time.

Ingredients

Scale

2 large Russet potatoes
1 ½ tablespoons Olive oil
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Black pepper
½ teaspoon Paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and scrub potatoes. Cut into 1-inch cubes. Soak in cold water for 15 minutes. Drain and dry thoroughly with a clean kitchen towel
  2. In a large bowl, toss dry potatoes with olive oil, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using)
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Arrange potatoes in a single layer without overcrowding. Cook for 15 minutes, shaking halfway through. Increase temperature to 425°F and cook for 5 more minutes until golden and crispy
  4. Serve immediately for maximum crunch

Notes

Dry potatoes completely to ensure crispiness.

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; work in batches if needed.

Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for 3 minutes—avoid microwaving.

Substitutions: sweet potatoes, avocado oil, fresh herbs, or Parmesan cheese.
