A quick and easy 3-ingredient strawberry mousse that is light, airy, and bursting with fresh berry flavor. Perfect for busy weeknights, naturally gluten-free, and requires no eggs, gelatin, or cooking.
Ingredients
2 cups Fresh strawberries, hulled
1 cup Heavy whipping cream, cold
3 tablespoons Granulated sugar
Instructions
- Place the strawberries in a blender. Whiz until smooth. Pour the puree into a bowl. Set aside
- Pour cold heavy cream into a large bowl. Add the sugar. Beat with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Do not overmix
- Gently fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream using a spatula. Stir slowly until combined
- Spoon the mousse into serving cups. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set
- Serve cold, straight from the refrigerator
Notes
Use very cold cream for best whipping.
Do not overwhip the cream; stop at stiff peaks.
Fold gently to avoid deflating the mousse.
Taste strawberries first and adjust sugar if they are tart.
Chill fully for at least 2 hours to set the texture.
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Do not freeze.
