A quick and easy air fryer breaded chicken breast recipe that is crispy, juicy, and ready in 15 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
To taste Salt and black pepper
1 Egg, beate
As needed Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Flatten each chicken breast to even thickness. Season with salt and pepper
- Mix panko, parmesan, paprika, and garlic powder in a shallow bowl
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten egg, letting excess drip off
- Coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently so it sticks
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Spray the basket with oil
- Place breaded chicken in a single layer. Spray tops lightly with oil
- Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through
- Check internal temperature; it should reach 165°F
Notes
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for best crispiness.
Pat chicken dry before breading to help coating stick.
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes.
Microwaving will make the coating soggy.
