Description
A rich and smooth homemade sugar-free chocolate made with cocoa powder, coconut oil or cocoa butter, and your favorite sugar substitute. Perfect for low-carb or diabetic-friendly diets.
Ingredients
1/2 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1/2 cup coconut oil or cocoa butter, melted
2–4 tbsp powdered erythritol, monk fruit, or preferred sweetener (to taste)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional: chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or sugar-free chocolate chips
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted coconut oil (or cocoa butter) and cocoa powder until smooth.
2. Stir in sweetener, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until fully combined and no lumps remain.
3. Pour the chocolate mixture into silicone molds or a parchment-lined dish.
4. Add any optional mix-ins like nuts or coconut.
5. Refrigerate or freeze until fully set, about 30–60 minutes.
6. Pop out of molds or slice into pieces if using a dish. Store in the fridge or freezer.
Notes
Taste and adjust sweetness before setting.
Use food-grade cocoa butter for a firmer texture and no coconut flavor.
Keep refrigerated as coconut oil melts at room temperature.
