- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup milk or dairy-free alternative
- 1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil
- Salt to taste
- Optional: cinnamon, nutmeg, or maple syrup for added flavor
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add sweet potato cubes and cook until very tender, about 15โ20 minutes.
- 2. Drain and transfer to a food processor or blender.
- 3. Add milk, butter, and salt. Blend until completely smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
- 4. Adjust consistency with more milk if desired. Add spices or maple syrup to taste if using.
- 5. Serve warm as a side dish or use as a base for soups, baking, or baby food.
Notes
For a richer purรฉe, use cream or whole milk.
Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
