Ingredients
1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup finely mashed or pureed strawberries (fresh or thawed frozen)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cold heavy cream and powdered sugar.
2. Beat with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
3. Add the mashed or pureed strawberries and vanilla extract.
4. Continue whipping until stiff peaks form and mixture is fluffy and pink.
5. Use immediately or chill for up to 24 hours before serving.
Notes
Make sure your bowl and beaters are cold for best results.
Strain strawberries before adding if you prefer a smoother texture.
