- 1 box vanilla wafers (about 11 oz)

Instructions
- 1. In a large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Set aside.
- 2. In a separate bowl, beat heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- 3. Fold whipped cream into the pudding mixture until well combined.
- 4. In a 9×13-inch dish or trifle bowl, layer vanilla wafers on the bottom.
- 5. Add a layer of banana slices, followed by a layer of strawberries.
- 6. Spread half the pudding mixture over the fruit.
- 7. Repeat layers with remaining wafers, fruit, and pudding.
- 8. Top with additional whipped cream and crushed wafers if desired.
- 9. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
