- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- 2. In a separate bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- 3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- 4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
- 5. Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface.
- 6. Flip and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
- 7. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a shallow bowl.
- 8. Immediately coat warm pancakes in cinnamon sugar.
- 9. Serve warm with syrup or chocolate sauce if desired.
