Ingredients
1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
3/4 cup granulated sugar
6 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz)
1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch or similar baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine drained pineapple chunks and crushed pineapple.
3. Add sugar and flour, and mix until evenly coated.
4. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
5. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
6. In a small bowl, combine crushed crackers and melted butter until crumbly.
7. Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the pineapple.
8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
9. Let cool slightly before serving.
