An indulgent seafood twist on a classic grilled cheese this Lobster and Crab Grilled Cheese features buttery toasted bread filled with a creamy blend of lobster, crab, and melty cheeses.

- 1/2 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/2 cup cooked crab meat, picked over for shells
- 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives or green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices sourdough or artisan bread
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or fontina cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, for grilling
Instructions
- 1. In a small bowl, mix lobster, crab, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, chives, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- 2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
- 3. On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer half the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
- 4. Top with half the seafood mixture, then the remaining cheese, and close with the second bread slice, buttered side out.
- 5. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Grill sandwiches 3โ4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- 6. Let rest 1 minute, slice, and serve hot.

- Use high-quality lump crab and lobster for best flavor.
- Pairs well with tomato bisque or a citrusy green salad.
- Add a slice of tomato or sprinkle of Old Bay seasoning for extra flair.
