Ingredients
2 cups cooked goose meat, shredded or chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
2 tablespoons curry powder or paste (mild or hot)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 (14 oz) can chopped tomatoes
1 cup coconut milk
1 tablespoon tomato paste
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: chopped cilantro and lime wedges for serving
Instructions
1. Place onion, garlic, and ginger in the bottom of the slow cooker.
2. Add the shredded goose, curry powder, cumin, cinnamon, chopped tomatoes, coconut milk, tomato paste, salt, and pepper.
3. Stir to combine all ingredients well.
4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until flavors are blended and the curry is rich.
5. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
6. Serve hot over rice or with naan bread, topped with chopped cilantro and lime if desired.
Notes
This curry is adaptable—add vegetables like peas, spinach, or potatoes during the last hour of cooking.
Leftovers keep well refrigerated for 3–4 days and taste even better the next day.
For a creamier curry, stir in a bit more coconut milk or a spoonful of yogurt before serving.
