Description

Creamy and flavorful keto deviled eggs made with mayonnaise, mustard, and simple seasonings for a low-carb, high-fat appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow or Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (plus more for garnish)
  • Optional: chopped chives or parsley

Instructions

  • 1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with water
  • 2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes
  • 3. Transfer eggs to an ice bath and let cool completely
  • 4. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise
  • 5. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl
  • 6. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth
  • 7. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites
  • 8. Garnish with additional paprika and optional herbs
  • 9. Chill until ready to serve

Notes

  • Use full-fat mayonnaise for best keto macros
  • Deviled eggs can be made up to one day ahead
  • Add a pinch of cayenne or a splash of pickle juice for extra flavor
