Description

Juicy hot honey feta chicken baked to perfection with sweet heat, tangy feta, and simple seasonings for an easy, flavor-packed dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup hot honey
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Optional: red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and lightly grease a baking dish
  • 2. Pat the chicken breasts dry and place them in the baking dish
  • 3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder
  • 4. Bake uncovered for 18โ€“22 minutes until the chicken is nearly cooked through
  • 5. Remove from the oven and drizzle hot honey evenly over the chicken
  • 6. Sprinkle feta cheese on top
  • 7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5โ€“7 minutes until chicken is cooked through and feta is softened
  • 8. Optional: broil for 1โ€“2 minutes for a lightly golden top
  • 9. Garnish with parsley and optional red pepper flakes before serving

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of hot honey to control sweetness and heat
  • Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts
  • Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad
