Description
Hot Fudge Brownie Bread is a rich, dense dessert loaf with the deep chocolate flavor of brownies and a molten ribbon of fudge baked right in. Perfect for chocoholics!
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (plus more for drizzling)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
3. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
5. Fold in chocolate chips.
6. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
7. Spoon the hot fudge sauce in a line down the center of the batter.
8. Top with remaining batter and gently smooth the surface.
9. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the edge comes out mostly clean (center may remain slightly gooey).
10. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Drizzle with extra hot fudge before serving.
Notes
For a cleaner slice, chill the bread slightly before cutting.
