Description

A warm, fragrant holiday spice tea made with citrus, cinnamon, and cloves, perfect for sipping during the festive season.


Ingredients

  • 8 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 2โ€“3 tbsp honey or sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Bring water to a boil in a large pot.
  • 2. Add orange slices, lemon slices, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
  • 3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes to infuse the spices.
  • 4. Add tea bags and steep for 4โ€“5 minutes, then remove them.
  • 5. Stir in honey or sugar to taste, along with vanilla extract if using.
  • 6. Strain the tea and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a stronger spice flavor, simmer the cinnamon and cloves an additional 5 minutes.
  • This tea can be made ahead and reheated flavors deepen over time.
