Description
A lighter version of the classic buffalo chicken dip—this healthy recipe uses Greek yogurt and light cream cheese while keeping all the spicy, creamy flavor you love.
Ingredients
2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
4 oz light cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup buffalo hot sauce
1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, mix Greek yogurt, light cream cheese, buffalo sauce, mozzarella, blue cheese (if using), and garlic powder until well combined.
3. Fold in the shredded chicken.
4. Transfer the mixture to a small baking dish and spread evenly.
5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
6. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve warm with veggie sticks, whole grain crackers, or tortilla chips.
Notes
For extra protein, use all Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese.
To make it dairy-free, use plant-based yogurt, cream cheese, and cheese alternatives.
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated as needed.
