Instructions

- 3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until pale and thick.
- 4. Add the lemon zest, vanilla, melted butter, and milk, mixing until smooth.
- 5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- 6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- 7. Bake for 25โ35 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- 8. Cool completely before slicing to maintain the tender crumb.
