Description
A creamy and savory garlic parmesan chicken pasta made with tender seasoned chicken, a rich garlic-Parmesan sauce, and your favorite pasta—perfect for a cozy dinner or meal prep.
Ingredients
8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or rotini)
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
1 1/2 cups heavy cream or half-and-half
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
5. Pour in cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if using. Cook until slightly thickened.
6. Return chicken to the skillet, then add cooked pasta. Toss to coat everything evenly in the sauce.
7. Simmer 2–3 minutes more until heated through.
8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker version.
Add sautéed spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
