Description
Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a creamy, savory one-pot dinner featuring tender chicken, garlic, and loads of Parmesan tossed with your favorite pasta—perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your choice)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Optional: chopped parsley and red pepper flakes for garnish
Instructions
1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir in uncooked pasta and Italian seasoning.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.
6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cooked chicken. Mix until the cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
7. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
Swap heavy cream for half-and-half for a lighter version.
Add steamed broccoli or spinach for extra veggies.
