Instructions
- 1. Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- 3. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- 4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combinedโdo not overmix.
- 5. Fold in Fruity Pebbles cereal gently.
- 6. Grease waffle iron and pour in batter (amount depending on iron size). Cook until golden and crisp.
- 7. Serve warm with butter, syrup, whipped cream, and extra Fruity Pebbles on top.
Notes
- Add a splash of milk if batter is too thick.
- For extra crunch, sprinkle Fruity Pebbles directly onto the batter after pouring it into the waffle iron.
