Instructions

  2. Carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks. Place the whites in a very clean, dry bowl and the yolks in a separate small bowl
  3. Add the cream of tartar and salt to the egg whites. Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites on high speed until they form stiff, glossy peaks
  4. To the egg yolks, add the softened cream cheese. Mix thoroughly until smooth and well combined
  5. Gently fold the yolk mixture into the stiff egg whites using a spatula, just until no streaks of yellow remai
  6. Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 6-8 round breads. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to the touch
  7. Let cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

For best results, ensure egg whites are at room temperature and use a very clean, grease-free bowl and whisk for whipping the egg whites.

Be extra gentle when folding the yolk mixture into the egg whites to preserve airiness; do not overmix.
