Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter

6 oz white chocolate, chopped

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

For the cream cheese swirl:

6 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 egg yolk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and white chocolate, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

3. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. Fold in flour and salt until just mixed. Do not overmix.

5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

6. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.

7. Dollop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter and swirl with a knife.

8. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden.

9. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

For an extra twist, fold chopped white chocolate or raspberries into the brownie batter.

Chill before slicing for cleaner edges.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
