A rich and comforting creamy parmesan garlic beef bowtie pasta thatโs packed with flavor and ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- 4. Add onion and cook until softened, then stir in garlic and cook until fragrant.
- 5. Season with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red pepper flakes if using.
- 6. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for 3โ4 minutes.
- 7. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens.
- 8. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated.
- 9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
