Crack Chicken Noodle Soup is a creamy, cheesy, and irresistibly savory twist on classic chicken noodle—loaded with bacon, ranch seasoning, tender chicken, and comforting noodles.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix
6 oz egg noodles
4 oz cream cheese, cubed and softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 4 minutes.
2. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
4. Add shredded chicken and ranch seasoning. Stir well.
5. Add egg noodles and simmer until tender, about 8–10 minutes.
6. Reduce heat to low and stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
7. Add cheddar cheese, bacon, and heavy cream. Stir until cheese is melted and soup is creamy.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
9. Garnish with green onions or parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For extra ease, use rotisserie chicken.
Thin soup with extra broth if it thickens while sitting.
Add sautéed carrots or celery for more veggie goodness.
