Description
Soft, buttery cinnamon roll bliss bars layered with cinnamon sugar and finished with a sweet vanilla glaze.

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- 2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar.
- 3. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
- 4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- 5. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- 6. In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- 7. Spread half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar, then repeat layers.
- 8. Bake for 22โ25 minutes until set in the center.
- 9. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth and drizzle over cooled bars.
- 10. Slice into bars and serve.
Notes
- For extra gooey bars, slightly underbake and allow to set as they cool.
- These bars store well in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
