Description

Sweet, tangy, and festive holiday meatballs coated in a quick cranberry-barbecue glaze are perfect for parties or easy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen meatballs (beef or turkey)
  • 1 can (14 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • 1. In a saucepan or skillet, combine cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • 2. Heat over medium, stirring until the mixture is smooth and begins to simmer.
  • 3. Add frozen meatballs and stir to coat them evenly in the sauce.
  • 4. Cover and simmer on low for 15โ€“20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until meatballs are heated through and the sauce has thickened.
  • 5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • These meatballs can also be made in a slow cooker cook on LOW for 3 hours.
  • Perfect as an appetizer or served over rice or mashed potatoes for a full meal.
