Description
Rich and chewy chocolate fudge cookies bursting with deep cocoa flavor and melty chocolate chips—perfect for chocoholics and easy enough for any weeknight bake.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp milk
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Beat until well combined.
5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
6. Fold in chocolate chips or chunks.
7. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies about 2 inches apart.
8. Bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are set but centers are still soft.
9. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra gooey cookies, slightly underbake and cool on tray.
Use chopped dark chocolate for deeper flavor.
Store in an airtight container up to 4 days or freeze for longer storage.
