Description
Soft and creamy chocolate chip cheesecake cookies that blend the best of two dessert favorites into one irresistible treat.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 oz cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
3. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, and beat until fluffy.
4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
8. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
9. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are set and tops are just starting to turn golden.
10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best texture, chill dough for 30 minutes before baking.
Cookies will be soft and slightly cakey from the cream cheese.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
