Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a large bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • 3. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, and beat until fluffy.
  • 4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • 5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • 6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • 7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • 8. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  • 9. Bake for 10โ€“12 minutes, or until edges are set and tops are just starting to turn golden.
  • 10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
