Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 apple, cored and chopped
  • 1 orange, peeled and segmented
  • 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger (optional)
  • 1/2 lemon, peeled
  • 1/2 cup cold water (if using a blender)
  • Ice cubes for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Wash, peel, and chop all produce as needed.
  • 2. If using a juicer: Feed carrots, apple, orange, lemon, and ginger through the juicer according to manufacturerโ€™s instructions.
  • 3. If using a blender: Add carrots, apple, orange, lemon, ginger, and water to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  • 4. Strain blended juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher or glass.
