Ingredients

- 4 large carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1 apple, cored and chopped
- 1 orange, peeled and segmented
- 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger (optional)
- 1/2 lemon, peeled
- 1/2 cup cold water (if using a blender)
- Ice cubes for serving (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Wash, peel, and chop all produce as needed.
- 2. If using a juicer: Feed carrots, apple, orange, lemon, and ginger through the juicer according to manufacturerโs instructions.
- 3. If using a blender: Add carrots, apple, orange, lemon, ginger, and water to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
- 4. Strain blended juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher or glass.
- 5. Serve immediately over ice if desired.
Notes
- Add turmeric or mint for an extra flavor twist.
- Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- Choose sweet, tender carrots for the best natural flavor.
