Description
A refreshing and naturally sweet carrot juice made with fresh carrots, citrus, and ginger—nutrient-rich and perfect for a morning boost or healthy snack.
Ingredients
4 large carrots, peeled and chopped
1 apple, cored and chopped
1 orange, peeled and segmented
1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger (optional)
1/2 lemon, peeled
1/2 cup cold water (if using a blender)
Ice cubes for serving (optional)
Instructions
1. Wash, peel, and chop all produce as needed.
2. If using a juicer: Feed carrots, apple, orange, lemon, and ginger through the juicer according to manufacturer’s instructions.
3. If using a blender: Add carrots, apple, orange, lemon, ginger, and water to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
4. Strain blended juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher or glass.
5. Serve immediately over ice if desired.
Notes
Add turmeric or mint for an extra flavor twist.
Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Choose sweet, tender carrots for the best natural flavor.
