Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup dried or freeze-dried blueberries
Optional: white chocolate chips or lemon zest for extra flavor
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
6. Fold in blueberries and optional add-ins like white chocolate chips or lemon zest.
7. Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on the baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
8. Bake for 10โ12 minutes, or until edges are just golden and centers look slightly soft.
9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Using freeze-dried blueberries prevents excess moisture and keeps the cookies chewy.
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
These cookies also freeze well for up to 2 months.
