Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup mini dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a saucepan over low heat, stir peanut butter and honey until smooth and combined.
  • 3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  • 4. Add Rice Krispies cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.
  • 5. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  • 6. Press mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
  • 7. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until set.
  • 8. Slice into squares and serve.
