Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pa
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside
  3. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat until light and fluffy
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract
  5. Fold in the mashed bananas
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix
  7. Gently stir in the chocolate chips, if using
  8. Pour the batter into your prepared pan. Spread evenly
