- 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked rice (white, brown, or cauliflower rice)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
Instructions
- 1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2. Season steak with garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- 3. Sear steak slices for 2โ3 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- 4. In a separate bowl, toss cooked rice with chopped cilantro and lime juice.
- 5. Assemble bowls by adding cilantro-lime rice as the base, then topping with steak, tomatoes, red onion, avocado, and a dollop of sour cream or yogurt.
- 6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
